In fact, it is often possible to find typical and particularly perfumed Mediterranean plants such as the Arbutus Unedo, the Myrtle and the Mastic tree.

Of great interest is the north-west area of the Island where there are some very characteristic towns such as Castelsardo, Alghero and Stintino, which are situated around the great city of Sassari. In this area, one can find attractions of archaeological interest, such as the necropolis at Domus de Janas in Anghelo Ruju or the nuragic complex in Palmavera, or near to the city of Sassari, there is the Temple of Mount d’Accoddi.

Lovers of the sea and water sports can find several sites where they can give vent to their passions. For example, on the beach at Porto Ferro, it is possible to practice surfing and wind surfing. In the Bay of Porto Conte, there are some splendid seabeds where you can go deep-sea diving with the possibility to visit underwater grottoes. Also sailing enthusiasts will have a gorgeous scenario where they can practice their activities, such as the western coast which stretches from Alghero to Bosa, another characteristic town in Sardinia.

The Torre del Porticciolo Camping Village is situated in a strategic position in order to visit these places; in fact, it is the only camp site situated in the bay of the Porto Conte Natural Park. From here, it is possible to reach the main locations in only a few minutes, such as Alghero, Stintino, Sassari and Castelsardo or simply to enjoy the total relaxation dividing one’s own holidays between the sea and nature! The most romantic holidaymakers can admire the splendid sunsets which, every evening, accompany the sun setting beyond the horizon at sea level, one of the most beautiful gifts given by the Sardinian Camp Site!

120 kw of pure energy
We are carrying out the first of two interventions aimed at making us totally energy independent. THE FIRST, now under construction, involves the installation of a 120 kW photovoltaic system that will allow us, already this year, to use a totally renewable energy throughout the day, and feed back into the grid the excess energy that will also come to all of you.
THE SECOND intervention, in 2023, will involve the installation of a similar system but with the addition of several 20 kW electricity storage points to store excess energy and use it during the night, so as to reach 240 kW of total installed power and more.

New Mobile Home Mini Suite, an intimate accommodation, with an elegant design, totally Made in Italy. Equipped with large windows to increase the natural light in the rooms, it has a spacious double bedroom and a full bathroom, equipped with double sink, toilet, shower, hairdryer. A spacious covered porch with a table and two chairs, will allow guests to relax in the enchanting natural scenery that surrounds these accommodations, perfectly inclusive and in harmony with the surrounding environment. Equipped with TV, mini fridge and sofa.

Expansion of the WiFi network, for a more widespread coverage within the Village.

AWARDS 2021 - 2022  

Another important award to Torre del Porticciolo, which for the 3rd consecutive year is awarded as the Best "Natural Paradise" Camping Village in Italy.
